Although the horizontal rods are not the main longitudinal load-bearing components, without them, the entire disc system would be unable to form a complete spatial geometric structure - it is the existence of the horizontal rods that integrates the scattered vertical rods into a stable triangular force-bearing unit, significantly enhancing the resistance to deformation.
