Ring Lock System Jack Base Kwik Lock Scaffolding

Short Description:

As a vital part of the ringlock system, the Ringlock Ledger connects the vertical standards. Its length corresponds to the center-to-center spacing between standards, with standard options such as 0.39m, 0.73m, 1.09m, 1.4m, 1.57m, 2.07m, 2.57m, and 3.07m. Custom lengths are also available.

The ledger is constructed from either OD48mm or OD42mm steel pipe, with a ledger head welded at each end. A lock wedge pin secures it to the rosette on the standard. Although it is not the primary load-bearing component, it plays an indispensable role in the system.

We provide a variety of ledger head styles, and custom designs are welcome. Depending on the process, ledger heads can be produced using investment casting or sand casting.

The Ringlock Ledger serves as the connecting component between two vertical standards, with its length determined by the center-to-center distance of the standards. It consists of an OD48mm steel pipe welded with two cast ledger ends, each secured to the standard via a lock pin. While it does not serve as the primary load-bearing element, it remains an essential part of the Scaffolding Ring Lock system.

To put it simply, assembling a complete system would not be possible without the ledger. If the standard provides vertical support, the ledger delivers horizontal connection—hence it is also referred to as the horizontal component.

For ledger heads, we offer various options, including investment casting and sand casting, with weights ranging from 0.34kg to 0.5kg. Both the head type and ledger length can be customized based on customer requirements; custom lengths are also available upon receipt of drawings.

    The advantages of ringlock scaffolding

    1. Essential Connecting Component
The Ringlock Ledger serves as the critical horizontal connection between vertical standards. Its length is defined by the center-to-center distance between two standards, ensuring precise alignment within the system. Manufactured from OD48mm steel pipe and welded with cast ledger heads at both ends, the ledger is secured using a lock wedge pin. While it is not the primary load-bearing component, it plays an indispensable role—without it, a complete ringlock system cannot be assembled. In function, it acts as the horizontal brace, which is why it is also commonly referred to as the "horizontal."

    2. Customizable Design
We offer ledger heads in various configurations, including investment casting and sand casting options, with weights ranging from 0.34kg to 0.5kg. Ledger lengths can also be customized based on customer drawings and requirements, providing flexibility for diverse project needs.

    3. Multifunctional and Multipurpose
The ringlock system adopts a uniform rosette spacing of 500mm or 600mm, allowing standards, ledgers, diagonal braces, and triangle brackets to be combined into a modular scaffolding structure. It is suitable for a wide range of applications, including bridge supports, facade scaffolding, stage supports, lighting towers, bridge piers, and safety climbing tower ladders.

    4. Safety and Firmness
The system features a self-locking wedge pin connection. Once inserted into the rosette, the pin locks securely under its own weight. The combination of horizontal ledgers and vertical diagonal braces forms a fixed triangular structure within each unit, which effectively resists both horizontal and vertical forces without deformation. This ensures overall system stability. Additionally, the use of scaffold boards with hooks further enhances worker safety, making the ringlock system structurally safer compared to other scaffolding types.

    5. Durability
All components undergo uniform hot-dip galvanizing, which eliminates issues such as paint peeling and rusting, significantly reducing maintenance costs. This treatment provides strong corrosion resistance and extends the service life of the steel pipes by 15 to 20 years.

    6. Simple Structure and Cost Efficiency
The ringlock system features a straightforward design that requires less steel, helping to reduce material costs for customers. Its simple structure also makes assembly and dismantling faster and easier, leading to savings in time, labor, and overall project costs.
