This connection creates a rigid triangular configuration throughout the scaffold, effectively locking the frame against sway and distributing heavy loads. These braces are installed level by level across the entire scaffolding height. For projects where diagonal braces are not used, some contractors substitute them with traditional pipe and coupler assemblies.
